TOSS IT! ~Majestiquely CLEAN! Obtaining “NEW” energy!

Let’s face it… we live in an extremely fast paced world… some call it a “microwave society”. We don’t always get to follow through on the little things that clear the way for good energy and relaxation! So… I’ve compiled a list of a few QUICK tasks that will help clear your environment and in the process rejuvenate your space and energy!!! I’ve tried them and I must say it works!

1- Clear ALL clutter and junk from your home. This is hard for pack rats!!! BUT… simple rule, if you haven’t used it by the time you found it again… then you won’t need it anytime soon. Toss it! Don’t fool yourself by saying.. “oh, I can sell this on Ebay”. NOT gonna happen. Most of the time if you’re a pack rat, then you’re a procrastinator also. TOSS IT! This goes for your cars, purses, pockets, etc. (no gum wrappers, receipts, loose business cards or flyers) The entry way to your home, under your bed and behind your doors should be free of clutter.
2- Get rid of unwanted gifts and presents. YES, it’s alright to toss those too. I admit I feel bad about throwing out gifts, but if you’re not using them, and they are taking up space, TOSS IT! Besides, your close family and friends know what you like, and will be around to see you enjoy it.
3- ONLY keep photos that remind you of GOOD THINGS & TIMES!!! Toss (or burn) old photos of ex’s, old friends whom with your not so friendly anymore or anything else that brings bad energy or memories! TOSS IT! Put loose photographs in frames, photo albums or a photo box or… do what I do.. use them as postcards!
4- RESOLVE OLD ISSUES! Get rid of flakey friends, lovers and all people who do not have your best interest at heart. This can be hard.. but boy oh boy is it liberating and it feels GREAT! Get rid of old bills… keeping the current one so you can PAY IT! Read your mail OVER your trash can and eliminate junk mail.
5- PRAY & Meditate daily!!! A lot of us “hit the ground running”… and we don’t carve out that time to connect with God. Although we all should be walking in prayer constantly many of us fall short.. BUT.. it will help if you begin starting your day with a period of prayer and meditation. I do this as soon as I open my eyes. It’s a beautiful way to start your day… and a beautiful way to end the day.

Now, don’t try to get this all done in one day… it way take a few weekends to achieve, but once you start to purge and clean your environment, you will notice a different energy surrounding you and your family. Life will not seem as “hurried” and you will ultimately feel more relaxed in your castle. Blessings!!!

Majestiquely Clean!!!- Clean your microwave with Lemons!!!

Majestique Cleaning~ Cleaning your Microwave with a Lemon!!!!

As busy Ladies.. And Gents... we may not always have the time to sit and scrub those nasty splatters of food inside our microwaves!! Here’s a GREAT Natural way to clean you microwave!! It’s not only a GREEN cleaning method... but it’s EASY!! I tried it and was amazed at how easily the microwave wiped cleaned after this method. Dirty microwaves are gross to look at, transfer foul odors to food being cooked inside it, and also harbor bacteria and germs. So here’s a surefire way to get your microwave FRESH and CLEAN with no harmful chemicals or sprays!

Directions~
1. Cut a lemon in four parts.
2. Place Lemon in microwave safe mug.
3. Fill cup with water leaving about ½” space to top and place cup in microwave.
4. Turn on the microwave for 1-2 minutes (adjust time depending on wattage of the microwave- you want the water to create steam on the walls).
5. Let cup sit inside microwave for about 2 minutes.
6. Remove cup and lemons from microwave.
7. Discard the used lemons & lemon water (try placing them in your garbage disposal and running your disposal. This will clean, deodorize and freshen your disposal.
8. Using a damp sponge, finish wiping down all surfaces inside the microwave.
9. Leave the door of the microwave open to allow the inside to air dry.
10. Once dry, replace the glass tray.

Get more green tips inside our "Home is Where the Heart is" Gift Set!!! www.MajestiqueSpa.com

Be sure to light your "FRESH" Hand Poured Scented Majestique Soy Wax Candle after the cleaning is all finished! (on a nearby counter of course!...not inside the microwave)

This is a tradition with my family especially when we're on holiday and a great alternative to the "regular" BBQ chicken! It's tasty with a zing!!! No perservatives!

Citrus Balsamic Grill
(4 servings)

1/3 cup lemon juice
1/4cup Worcestershire sauce
3 tbsps balsamic vinegar
1 tbsp olive oil
2 tsp. Chopped garlic
2 ½lbs chicken (thawed)

Combine all ingredients and mix well
marinate chicken for 2 hours or overnight in the refrigerator
Grill when ready!!!

(I usually make cuts through the middle of the raw chicken to ensure thorough seasoning and doneness!)

Another GREAT Marinade Recipe to Try...

Zesty Italian Vinaigrette

¼ cup apple cider vinegar
1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil
1 tsp. Minced fresh garlic
1 tsp. Dried parsley flakes
¾ tsp. Sugar

Barbecued Seitan Ribz (Just for Toni!)

Hi Guys.. here's a recipe I tried for Vegan BBQ Ribs from FatFreeVegan.com!!! I'm not a vegan but I do not eat pork or beef... so this was the next thing! Pretty interesting.. and tasty! Also, try MorningStar Hickory BBQ Riblets!

Thanks to Julie Hasson for featuring this recipe on Everyday Dish. Be sure to check out her video!

Barbecued Seitan Ribz

Like Veggeroni, this seitan is baked dry rather than boiled. The results are a little spongier than Veggeroni, less dense, but I think the texture is perfect for absorbing the flavor of the barbecue sauce. You'll be amazed at how easy this recipe comes together using your favorite bottled sauce.

1 cup vital wheat gluten
2 teaspoons smoked Spanish paprika
2 tablespoons nutritional yeast
2 teaspoons onion powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
3/4 cup water
2 tablespoons tahini or other nut butter
1 teaspoon Liquid Smoke
1 tablespoon soy sauce
about 1 cup of your favorite barbecue sauce

Preheat the oven to 350 and lightly spray an 8x8 baking dish with canola oil. Mix the first 5 ingredients together in a large bowl. Mix the water with the nut butter, Liquid Smoke, and soy sauce and add it to the dry ingredients. Stir to mix well and then knead lightly in the bowl for a couple of minutes.

Put the dough into the baking dish and flatten it so that it evenly fills the pan. Take a sharp knife and cut it into 8 strips; then turn the pan and cut those strips in half to form 16 pieces:

Put it in the oven and bake for 25 minutes. While it's cooking prepare your grill.

Remove it from the oven and carefully re-cut each strip, going over each cut to make sure that the ribz will pull apart easily later. Generously brush the top with barbecue sauce. Take it to the grill and invert the whole baking dish onto the grill (or use a large spatula to lift the seitan out, placing it sauce-side down on the grill). Brush the top of the seitan with more sauce:

Watch it closely to make sure that it doesn't burn. When it's sufficiently brown on one side, turn over and cook the other side, adding more sauce, if necessary. When done, remove to a platter and cut or pull apart the individual ribs to serve.

YUMMY!! Zip Lock Omelets!~ Majestique Momma's Quick Recipes for the Momma's on the GO!

ZIP LOCK Omelets! Quick & No MESS!!!

This a recipe I found and I LOVE IT! It allows for big families or groups to all get their omelets piping hot at the SAME TIME!!! No Frying!!! No extra fat!

1) Start a BIGGGG pot (Dutch Oven Size) with boiling water!!! Water must be rolling before you can use it. DO NOT ADD ANYTHING to your water.

2) Prepare and set out in buffet style all of your favorite ingrediants that you want to put in your omelet (spinach, turkey bacon, garlic, onions, peppers, cheese...etc.)

3) Give each person their own Gallon size zip lock freezer bag and write their names with a sharpie on it.

4) Crack 3 eggs in each bag... (if using only egg whites... use 4), shake until egg is well "scrambled".

5) Add all of the ingrediants from your "buffet" to your bag and shake again for another 30 seconds.

6) Make sure your bags are sealed correctly and add up to 7 bags at a time to the boiling rolling... very hot water. Let cook for 13 -15 minutes.

7) Carefully remove omelet bag from water and place on towel. Roll omelet over so it releases easily onto plate...

ENJOY!!!
