Another Majestiquely yummy one....
GARLICKY GINGER CHICKEN WINGS
10 CHICKEN WINGS (ABOUT 2 WINGS)
1 TABLESPOON MINCED FRESH GINGER
1 TABLESPOON MINCED FRESH GARLIC
3 TABLESPOONS SOY SAUCE
½ TEASPOON SESAME OIL
¼ TEASPOON CRUSHED RED PEPPER
1 TEASPOON BROWN SUGAR
½ CUP CHICKEN BROTH
1 TABLESPOON CORNSTARCH DISSOLVED IN
2 TABLESPOONS WATER
TOASTED SESAME SEEDS
CUT TIPS FROM CHICKEN WINGS AND DISCARD. CUT WINGS AT JOINT, MAKING 2 PIECES.
MIX GINGER, GARLIC, SOY, OIL, RED PEPPER, SUGAR AND CHICKEN BROTH IN A GLASS BOWL.
ADD CHICKEN WINGS AND TOSS TO COAT.
MARINATE 30 MINUTES IN THE REFRIGERATOR.
HEAT OVEN TO 375~.
PLACE CHICKEN IN ON NONSTICK BAKING DISH IN SINGLE LAYER.
POUR MARINADE OVER CHICKEN.
BAKE FOR 25 TO 30 MINUTES OR UNTIL DONE.
REMOVE CHICKEN TO PLATE.
PUT PAN OVER MEDIUM HEAT; ADD CORNSTARCH MIXTURE, COOK AND STIR FOR 2 MINUTES TO THICKEN.
POUR OVER CHICKEN.
SPRINKLE WITH SESAME SEEDS.
Variation... Grill your wings and BRUSH with the cornstarch mixture. Tell me How it turned out for you!!!
